CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen. You will not find machines made for you to sit down while supposedly working out, treadmills, ellipticals, or TV’s. What you will find are kettlebells, bumper plates, ropes, rings, and a pullup rig. As well, through hard work and determination, you will find success!

What a great workout with the air conditioner blowing! I don't think any of our newer athletes knew we even had A/C. Woohoo!

The WOD was a killer today so I was surprised when Cody put the 1 minute Max Calories row at the end of it. When you're just watching, 1 minute is fairly short time that passes quickly. When you're rowing, 1 minute is a loooong time.

Coach Cody programmed a fun one. It took some time to get situated and figure out whose equipment you'd steal, but it worked out fairly well. I think everyone broke a sweat.
