I was preparing a write up for the Coaches Corner portion of our website (www.crossfit2232.com) when I ran across this article in Elite FTS. When preparing for competitions my main worry is getting sick. Always seems that as I approach my peak a cold of some degree comes on the scene. What I find interesting is how many others this phenomenon affects. Now if strength and high intensity training produces a high functioning machine then why do I get sick? However, why of late has this phenomenon not affected me? Only difference I have made since this summer is BCAAs/Glutamine.
