Jama and I were talking about the Fran on Friday, took me a bit to post this. A lot of people were disappointed with it, including both of us. It’s good to see people have a lot of internal motivation and are pushing themselves to do better.
I think it’s also important to remember that a good workout plan sometimes gives you more than you can handle. I can remember a lot of nasty mile repeat workouts in college followed by mediocre races on a Saturday, but that didn’t mean the team wasn’t getting anywhere. And I guess that’s how I felt when the workout was over. We had a tough couple weeks and I know we were all feeling the previous couple workouts, but I’m sure we’re all better for it, and that will be obvious very soon.
